Gold Mozae talks about the change of tune and evolution of music
They say that being a DJ is easy, but being a good DJ is extremely tough. With technologies like Ableton and Virtual DJ, it has become very easy to produce great beats, but it takes a good ear to produce hits that people can groove to. Gold Mozae is a DJ and music producer who has already released three hits this year with a promise of many more to come.
Born and brought up in El Dorado, California, Matthew Novak also known as Gold Mozae’s tracks are increasingly gaining momentum in the industry. He started playing the trombone in elementary school and he knew since then that he had to make a career in music. As a teenager he was part of a punk rock band but as he grew older, he moved towards DJing and music production.
He started DJing at college and house parties and realized he was good at it and really enjoyed it too. He then started producing music and playing at night clubs and local music festivals. His popularity grew overtime and he started performing at night clubs across the country. Gold Mozae is a popular name in some of the biggest night clubs across San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, New York, Miami and more. He’s even worked with some of the most popular artists in the world, including The Chainsmokers, Diplo, Machine Gun Kelly and more.
His latest remix of All My Life by DallasK is a club banger. Gold Mozae has infused his own euphoric vibes into the track, making it a perfect summer hit. Releasing new material every other month, Gold Mozae is making sure he’s always the talk of the town.
After giving his fans the taste of his music with his recently released singles, we’re sure to expect some mind-blowing bangers from his new EP set to drop this summer. Realizing how important producing original music is, Gold Mozae decided to switch things up on the production side of music. “Just like everything in life, music is also constantly evolving. If you want people to listen to your tracks and like them, you have to give them something unique but there also has to be an element of familiarity which makes them wantto come back and listen toit over and over again,” says Gold Mozae.
“There are thousands of new tracks releasing every day. You have to make sure your music is fresh, unique and stands out from the crowd. Creating good music is not tough, but creating an identity with your music, something that distinguishes you from the rest is what’s tough,” he added. After the release of his EP, Gold Mozae is planning a North American tour for his fans and is extremely excited about it too.
