Katy Perry's Twitter account hacked!

The account also posted a link to a song on SoundCloud which has since been removed.

Katy Perry had a memorable Memorial Day. The 31-year-old’s Twitter account was hacked and a series of bizzare Tweets were sent to her 89 million-plus followers.

The hacker, reportedly from Romania, tweeted a message to her rival Taylor Swift and also leaked a previously unreleased track called Witness 1.3. The first tweet posted was: “haha follow @sw4ylol #hackersgonnahack.”

After a while, another tweet was posted from the account @sw4ylol; the tweet had screenshots of the emails Twitter sends to reset the password for an account, linked to the Twitter handle @Katyperry.

The account also posted a link to a song on SoundCloud which has since been removed, and a screenshot of a notification from SoundCloud saying that the song has been removed for containing content owned by Katy Perry. The hacker then sent a message to Katy’s rival Taylor Swift. The Tweet read, ‘miss you baby @taylorSwift13.’

The posts on Katy’s account have been deleted, reported Dailymail.co.uk.
