Orange movie review: Ganesh turns orange to gold!

A simple plot keeps the audience laughing their hearts out at the cost of a misplaced identity.

Director: Prashanth Raj

Cast: Ganesh, Priya Anand, Avinash, Sadhu Kokila, Harish Raj, Rangayana Raghu

After 'Zoom’, Prashanth and Golden Star Ganesh makes a comeback with yet another comedy, and this time it certainly satisfies the hunger after tasting the entertaining juice squeezed out of this 'Orange’. It's healthier too!

A simple plot keeps the audience laughing their hearts out at the cost of a misplaced identity. Ganesh who has mastered the art with an impeccable timing when it comes to comedy turns this orange into gold.

It also comes with the usual Prashanth Raj film with jam packed casting, which acts as titbits adding a different flavour to laughter ride. A thief who lands in jail for attempting to rob a bank, later finds himself in a sticky situation of being misunderstood as the lover by the family whose girl has runway for, from home after opposing to marry to another.

The situation gets funnier when the daughter played by Priya Anand returns, and is shocked to learn that her family has accepted someone else as her man! With thief in the house, and then the real lover making an entry sets the journey on a rollercoaster, guessing who will finally marry Radha (Priya) in the end.

Though predictable, the escapades of misplaced romantic scenario, runs swift without any delay which is another reason to grab this Orange filled with decent humour for the weekend. S Thaman's songs suits well to the situational comedy captured delightfully by the cinematographer. Bored of highly anticipated movies turning out to be a dud? Orange offers nothing big but for a decent laughter.
