When he came back after a break, Shine Tom Chacko had suddenly appeared in multiple films, one of his last releases being Popcorn. It looks like he has made a habit of it, taking on another bunch of movies in the coming days. The newest of these is Isabella, to be directed by editor turned filmmaker Ajay Devaloka, who is based in Mumbai. “It is not a remake of the old Isabella which had Balachandra Menon in the lead role. Isabella will be the name of the central character, played by a new face,” Shine says. He will play the male lead. “This psycho thriller will be set against the backdrop of Thaazhvaaram (Foothills) and Rajeev (Rajeev Pillai) will also play an important role,” he adds. Shooting of the film will begin in February.
Shine is also shooting Prethamundu Sookshikuka, which will see him in the lead role. A third film called Thiyan is also in the making, where Shine will play an important role along with the male leads in the film – Indrajith and Prithviraj
