Joining the pantheon of Malayalam remakes is Chunkzz, the second and latest from Happy Wedding director Omar Lulu. The movie is going to have Tamil, Telugu and Kannada versions. Confirming the report, the director said he is likely to direct all three, which is yet to be confirmed. “Actors from the respective industries would be roped in. I can assure established actors from Tamil, Telugu and Kannada would be in the cast,” he says. Lakshmishree Combines would bankroll all three versions. The Malayalam movie was produced by Vaishak Rajan. Other plans regarding the movies are not revealed.
Chunkzz, a campus movie, had Honey Rose, Balu Varghese, Siddique, Lal, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Ganapathi and Mareena Michael in major roles. It introduced a fresh theme related to the life of mechanical engineering students. Immediately after the release, Omar announced his next, Adaar Love, which he promises to be a freshers' outing, just as his directorial debut.
