Angamaly Diaries-fame Appani Sarath, who is currently acting in Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, has bagged the male lead in Kollywood with Nellu, directed by Shibu Shekar. Set against a village backdrop, he is playing a rustic character in the movie. The role is said to be a challenging one.
