Malayalam cinema’s love for evoking campus nostalgia of yore is well-known. The innumerable reel tales that captured the scent and scenes of college campuses Oru Muthassi Gadha (OMG), the second directorial outing of Om Shanthi Oshaana director Jude Anthany Joseph joins.
The movie will showcase the campus life in Kerala in the 1970s and the crew is behind finding the right elements to relate to the era — from actors to vintage vehicles. On Facebook, Jude has put up an open invite for young men and women who are ready to walk back to the bygone era.
Shooting of the movie starring Rajeev Pillai and Aparna Balamurali in the lead roles is under progress. It has dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi in a key role. The campus part is to be shot in July.
