KOCHI: Actor Shwetha Menon has announced the launch of ‘Sanguine’, an event management and catering group, to make a presence in the online marriage space, wedding planning and execution and big corporate and other events besides specialty food services. Announcing this at a press conference here on Friday, the actor said that the venture brought together a team of creative individuals who had made their mark in their fields including culinary maestro Pazhayadam Mohanan Namboodiri, make-up professional, Roshan N.G., costume designer Satheeshan S.B., organiser of major stage shows Subash Anchal, cinematographer Roy Lawrence and videographer, Rijas Rehman.
Under the Sanguine banner, there will be two separate ventures – www.sanguinemarry.com – the marriage portal with millions of registered members and Sanguine Events, an event management company. NRI businessman, Koshy Abraham is the major investor in the venture. Shwetha Menon’s husband Sreevalsan Menon will head events and communication aspects. “Sanguine is equipped to handle big award functions, dealer meets, fashion shows, stage shows, exhibitions and trade shows, product launches and general, economic and social events,” the actor said. The venture will be headquartered in Kerala but will handle events across the country besides the Middle East, GCC, Australia and the US where Sanguine will have marketing representation and offices.
