Enforcement Directorate unlikely to get Dileep documents

The cops are learnt to have received information of the presence of Suni in some of the sets of her films.

Kochi: The Special Investigation Team, probing the actor abduction and sexual assault case, would not hand over documents in connection with the case, including the case diary, as demanded by the Enforcement Directorate which too has started a probe into the assets of actor Dileep. “The ED is probing the assets of the accused and there is no need for documents such as case diary and FIR which are confidential in nature,” sources said. The ED official, meanwhile, said they have so far received little information with regard to their probe and need to know whether the accused had any land or financial dealings with other accused or persons connected with the film field.

“We’re yet to receive any communication from the police with regard to our request,” said an ED officer. Meanwhile, sources said the investigation team would again question Kavya Madhavan after some of her statements “proved wrong”. The actor had said she didn’t know Sunil Kumar aka Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the case. The cops are learnt to have received information of the presence of Suni in some of the sets of her films. Meanwhile, the Angamaly First Class Judicial Magistrate court on Friday postponed the order in the bail petition of Suni to Saturday.
