As people were going crazy to buy tickets for the movie, Fawaz Zayani bought tickets for two different shows for the first day itself.

April 28, 2017 was probably a date much awaited by movie buffs throughout South India for the past two years. Marking the end of the long wait, arrives the answer of to the million-dollar question —‘why did Kattappa kill Baahubali’. The sequel of the epic movie Baahubali- The Beginning and the most awaited movie of 2017, Baahubali 2- The conclusion has finally hit the screens. The long queues at the ticket counters, the eagerness to watch the movie and the reviews from the people who have watched it are testimony to the fact that the movie is a blockbuster worth watching.

This is not the first extraordinary movie that has forced audiences flocking to the cinemas. But this must be perhaps the first movie in a decade that receives reviews like “And the typhoon strikes BO... East. West. North. South... It’s #Baahubali2 mania... Will set new benchmarks... HISTORIC START!”, “U never want a intervl.. @ssrajamouli @RanaDaggubati @Shobu_ #Baahubali2 I can’t wait this 10mins evn”.

Swept away by the Baahubali fever, Ravi Shankar, a journalist and photographer reached Perumbavoor from Kochi only where he could manage to get the tickets for the first show at 6.15 am. Sharing his enthusiasm after watching the movie, Ravi says, “I tried getting tickets everywhere, but I could only manage to get it from Perumbavoor EVM. The theatre was jam-packed and people were fighting to enter the cinema. The method in which the movie has been made is breathtaking. Each and every sequence made me spell bound.”

Most of the people who wanted to watch the movie the first day itself opted for the first show with an inhibition that once people start watching the movie, the suspense will be lost. However, associate director Jithin Lal is of the opinion that none of them who have seen the movie can explain why Kattappa killed Baahubali in one sentence because the director has seamlessly incorporated that into the entire movie.

As people were going crazy to buy tickets for the movie, Fawaz Zayani bought tickets for two different shows for the first day itself. “I was very much particular that I need to get the tickets for the very first show, which I managed by standing in the queue right from the time the counters were open on 20th. It is not a movie that has got popularity because of the star fans. Therefore it is the story and the substance that has brought people to the cinema halls.”

Celebs were also not behind and many of them reached the cinemas to watch the first show. Deepa Eswar was one among them. Sharing her views, she says, “I went to watch the movie with my three months old baby, so one can imagine how much I wanted to watch it, It was crazy out there and the enthusiasm that people had was huge. However, The movie has not disappointed any one and I am looking forward to watch it in other languages as well.”

The movie and praises for it are trending in Twitter and it has been termed as ‘Baahubalian hit’. The Baahubali fever throughout the country is a clear indication that S S Rajamouli’s magnum opus has definitely scripted a new chapter in Indian film industry.
