Film titles seem to be getting quirkier than ever. Laughing Apartment Near Girinagar is a film directed by Nissar, someone with 25 films to his credit. This film was completed in a mind-boggling 10 days. The film stars actors like Kalabhavan Shajon, Kottayam Nazeer, Ramesh Pisharody, Aswathi, Sharanya and Malavika among others and was largely shot at Ernakulam.
As the title hints, the film looks at the life of apartment dwellers in a huge high rise in the city. They meet each other only in lifts and staircases and are detached from each other.
