Oru Mexican Aparatha director Tom Emmatty is all set to don the greasepaint by playing the antagonist in the upcoming movie Vayilla Kunnile Appan. The film will be directed by actor Jino John, who, interestingly, portrayed one of the antagonists in Tom's OMA. Incidentally, the directorial debut of Tom was based on the incidents during Jino's college days when he was elected the union chairman on a KSU panel in the SFI fort of Maharaja's College. Now, it's role reversal for Tom and Jino.
“I have been cast as an anti-hero and briefed about my character. That's all I know now. I am currently working on the script of my next movie," reveals Tom.
Vayilla Kunnile Appan, scripted by Jino himself, is touted to be a campus movie – a romantic thriller – and has many students of Maharaja's College as part of the cast and crew. Most of the lead actors will be debutants, according to sources.
