Baahubali star Prabhas’ much-awaited Saaho, which is touted to be the second most expensive film made in the country, has a new entrant from Malayalam – actor-director Lal. The news was out when Lal recently shared two photos on his social media – one with director Sujeet Bhaskar and another with Prabhas.
Directed and scripted by Sujeet, the film is planned to have a pan-Indian appeal and hence the makers are roping in big names from various industries. The action thriller, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Mandira Bedi, Arun Vijay, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff and Evelyn Sharma, is simultaneously being shot in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
The shooting of the movie is currently in progress in UAE where Lal is known to have joined the sets. An action sequence choreographed by famous Kenny Bates shot near the Burj Khalifa for the film has apparently cost the producers Rs 25 crore. Produced by Vamsi Krishna and U Pramod, Saaho is reportedly made on Rs 90-crore budget. Lucky trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composes the music of Saaho.
In the photos, Lal is seen in his stylish best and with him working on multiple projects at the same time, it seems the actor is having a busy schedule, raising the expectations of movie buffs. Saaho is expected to hit the screens next year.
