Nivin Pauly is having the best time of his career with a lineup of movies from different genres. While his Onam release Love action Drama was running successfully in the theatres, the actor was preparing for the world premiere of his bilingual Moothon (The Elder One) at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The movie, written and directed by Geethu Mohandas, was one of the most applauded movies at TIFF. Moothon’s Asia premier was even more prestigious and it became the inaugural movie at the Mumbai Film Festival. The social media handle of the cast and crew of Moothon were overflowing with photographs from TIFF and MAMI, making the audience even more thrilled for the movie to hit the theaters. However, it seems that the movie is on the path of representing Malayalam cinema in every part of the world, Moothon’s addition to the list of the films that will compete at the Valladolid Film Festival, Spain, being the testimony. Director Geethu Mohandas announced the same through her Instagram handle with a note,
“Excited to inform that my film, #MOOTHON is in competition at 64th Valladolid International Film Festival, Spain!!!! ” The movie, which will have Nivin playing the character of a gangster who is being searched by his younger brother has both Bollywood as well as Mollywood actors playing pivotal roles.
