Since its announcement, director Jibu Jacob’s next, Biju Menon-starrer Aadyarathri has piqued the interest of movie buffs who expect the film to be a comedy entertainer like his debut film Vellimoonga which had Biju and Aju Varghese rocking the screen with their humour-packed dialogues. When the first video song of the film ‘Njanennum Kinavu’ hit YouTube recently, the expectations soared. The song composed by Bijibal has Aju and Thanneermathan Dinangal-fame Anaswara Rajan pulling off a Baahubali act by performing to a spin-off of the picturesque ‘Ore oru ooril’ song from the epic movie starring Prabhas and Anushka Shetty who plays the romantic pair of Mahendra Baahubali and Devasena respectively.
‘Njanennum Kanavu’, rendered by Ann Amy and Ranjith Jayaraman is performed at the replica of the huge Baahubali swan ship with VFX and little dancers shaking a leg to the funny moves of Aju and Anaswara. The song was released through the official Facebook pages of Mohanlal and Prithviraj. Aadyarathri marks the coming together of Jibu-Biju-Aju combo after four years. Reports are that Biju plays a marriage broker in the film and Aju, his assistant.
Biju’s last release was Sathyam Paranja Viswasikkuvo which tells the story of a bunch of mason workers penned by award-winning scriptwriter Sajeev Pazhoor. Aju was seen last in Love Action Drama, which he co-produced and acted in alongside Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara.
