Tovino Thomas is definitely one of the most bankable actors in Malayalam today, and the actor’s filmography is buzzing with hits after hits, the latest being Edakkad Battalion 06. According to the rumour mill, Tovino is now working on two films, which are expected to be completed in November and December.
Among them is the much anticipated movie 2043 Ft directed by Jude Anthony Joseph, which is expected to release before New Year. Forensic, directed by Sujith Vasudev, is the other one. Followed by Forensic, Tovino will be associating with Minnal Murali, the directorial venture of Basil Joseph. He is now waiting for the release of his new movie Kilometers and Kilometers.
Tovino was last seen as Captain Shafeek Mohammed, an army man, in Edakkad Battalion 06, an action drama. Samyuktha Menon played the female lead. The movie, which depicts the lives of army people, was scripted by actor-writer P. Balachandran and directed by newcomer Swapnesh K. Nair. Edakkad Battalion 06 was produced by Ruby Films.
