Watch Ramaleela': Manju Warrier on BO clash with disgraced ex-husband Dileep

To watch it or not to watch it has become a bone of contention dividing Malayalis over the past few days regarding the Dileep starrer Ramaleela. On Saturday controversial actor Dileep’s first wife Manju Warrier shared her views on this subject on her social media page and once again Malayalis seems to have divided themselves over her opinion.

Manju whose movie Udaharanam Sujatha is hitting theatres on September 28 has asked everyone to watch Ramaleela and to not protest against it’s release. Here is an excerpt from her post.

“Another movie releasing along with Udhaharanam Sujatha is Ramaleela. There has been voices from various quarters asking to boycott the movie. Which even lead to discussions about burning down theatres. However,this attitude is unfortunate. One most not show their personal discord with a person to the cinema. No movie belongs to a single person, it belongs to a lot of people.

Their relation with that cinema does not end just by parting after taking home the remuneration.”

Extending her support to Ramaleela producer Tomichan Mulakupadam and its director Arun Gopi she added “Rameela is producer Tomichan Mulakupadam’s crores of investment. The movie also belongs to debutant director
Arun Gopi who has dreamed about cinema for years.” She does not forget to mention light boys and cooks and those whose names do not appear in the credit. “ All these people have the right to wish that the movie reaches a theatre and people get to watch it. We do not have the right to deny it. If we do so, that is injustice done to cinema. Let people watch Ramaleela and let justice dawn through viewership”.
