Alliance Française de Trivandrum, in association with the Embassy of France, will screen the film Dans La Brume on January 25, at 5.30pm. The screening, a part of January Cinéclub, will take place at Alliance Française de Trivandrum. The film, directed by Daniel Roby, is about a couple who lives peacefully in Paris with their daughter, who has an incurable disease called ‘the goldfish disease’ that forces her to live in a giant glass bubble. One day, a mist coming from the sewers decimates passers-by. This phenomenon floods the entire capital, with most of the survivors trapped on the top floors of buildings and rooftops. They try to survive despite the lack of food, electricity, and information. The couple does everything in their power to save their daughter, who has remained in the fog. The 89-minute film deals with what happens thereafter.
