Kochi: Police has issued a notice to actor Dileep for hiring the service of a Goa-based private security firm 'Thunder Force' and demanded the details of the security team including the weapons they are carrying. The actor is currently out on bail in the actor abduction and sexual assault case. "The notice was served directing the actor to submit the details of the security staff. He is also asked to submit whether there are any weapons being used by the security team and their license details if any," said a senior police officer.
Kottarakkara police had taken two vehicles of the security team into custody on Saturday and the vehicles were later released after a detailed inspection. Sources said the action is part of the cops' strict monitoring measures to ensure that the actor won't misuse the facility to influence witnesses or other such activities affecting the case. The Special Investigation Team is set to submit the additional chargesheet in a week and the investigation officers are mulling to array Dileep as the first accused. Currently, Sunil Kumar aka Pulsar Suni is the first accused while the actor is 11th accused.
