He may only be in class IV, but his talent in front of the camera is undeniable. Eric, the little brother of child star Esther, is taking baby steps in tinsel town and has so far acted alongside Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban and Narain.
In his most recent act, Eric portrayed Narain’s childhood role in Hallelooya. Obviously, the visit to the sets of the movie in which his sister acted did make an impact on him, but he says, "I have always had a deep passion for films and have been comfortable in front of the camera.”
Adds his father Anil Nath, “He accompanies Esther and watches what she does on the sets, but films have always interested him. He watches films everyday and sees all the latest Malayalam films. He even has no qualms about asking a director for a role!” Asked about his favourite genre, Eric replies, “I am not very fond of comedy, but like thrillers.” Well, so who is his favourite actor? Eric hums and haws before saying, “No one.” But when teased about speaking like a seasoned actor and treading the diplomatic line, he confesses, “Mohanlal,” and adds, “They all are very friendly to me.”
