Kochi: In his latest blog post, ‘What’s the point of us living when India is dying’ actor Mohanlal urged his fellow countrymen to think about the nation’s security instead of indulging in talks about patriotism and violence.

Mohanlal referred to the recent avalanche in Siachen that killed nine soldiers and also the photo of Lance Naik Sudheesh’s four-month-old daughter being shown her father’s dead body.

Though Mohanlal criticised the ongoing JNU protest and Kanhaiya Kumar’s arrest, he made it clear that he was not interested to comment on the current political scenario.
The blog post was widely criticised on social media. CPM leader M. B. Rajesh criticised the post and asked Mohanlal to listen to Kanhaiya Kumar’s speech at the campus and write about it....
