Pooja ceremony of the movie One, where actor Mammootty appears as Kerala Chief Minister, was held at 3 Dots studio in Edappally, Kochi. The switch-on ceremony was done by director-actor Ranjith. Writer-actor Shankar Ramakrishnan performed the first clap. Prominent personalities from the industry took part in the function.
Directed by Chirakodinja Kinavukal-fame Santhosh, the movie has Joju George, Ranjith, Salim Kumar, Murali Gopy, Balachandra Menon, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Mamukkoya, Shyamaprasad, Remya, Alencier, Suresh Krishna, Mathew Thomas, Jayakrishnan, Meghanathan, Sudev Nair, Mukundan, Sudheer Karamana, Balaji, Jayan Cherthala, Gayathri Arun, Reshmi Boban, V.K. Baiju, Nandu, Vettukkili Prasad, Archana Manoj and Krishna in other significant roles. Screenplay is by Bobby and Sanjay. Vaidi Somasundaram handles cinematography. Gopi Sundar scores music to the lyrics penned by Rafeeq Ahamed.
Mammootty’s previous outing was Ganagandharvan, directed by Ramesh Pisharody. His upcoming release is M. Padmakumar’s directorial Mamangam, which is based on the historical festival believed to have taken place on the banks of Bharathapuzha.
