Filmmaker Ranjith has announced his next directorial —Bilathikkatha. The screenplay for the movie, which will be released under the Varnachitra banner, will be penned by Sethu. Maniyan Pilla Raju’s son Niranj, who shot to fame with his latest flick Bobby, will play the lead character in the film. The actor was highly appreciated for his performance of a boy who falls in love with an older woman and gets married to her. Anu Sithara will play the female lead in Bilathikkatha.
Her latest movie as the heroine was Ramante Edenthottam, which had garnered critical acclaim for her performance and the story. The cast also includes Dileesh Pothan, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Suresh Krishna, Kottayam Nazir and Kaniha. This is the third time Ranjith is directing a movie that is not written by him. Ranjith movies have always been a perfect choice for newbies in the industry. It seems Niranj and Anu Sithara are on the right track!
