Actor Tovino Thomas' much-awaited bilingual Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum will hit the theatres on March 9. The information was shared by the actor himself on his social media account on the occasion of his birthday. “It’s my big bday announcement: Happy to share the release date of my forthcoming bilingual film – Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum (Malayalam) & Abhiyum Anuvum (Tamil): 9th March. A fearless love story with Pia Bajpai directed by B.R. Vijayalakshmi. Save the date! (sic)” he wrote. On the same day, he shared the first look poster of his upcoming Malayalam project Maradona.
Tovino's debut project in Tamil, the movie is said to be an intense and brave love story. In a previous interview, Tovino had said that he chose the movie as its content is exciting. “It is a bold movie. But don’t expect big stunt sequences. The fearless factor comes to mind. Abhi and Anu’s story is not a peppy romance. It is an intense romantic drama, which will make the audience think. More than the theatrical response, what I look for in the film is the critical acclaim,” he had said.
The actor who is basking in the success of Mayaanadhi also dons the role of a villain in Balaji Mohan’s Maari 2 in Tamil.
