Debutant Lal Bijo’s three-minute-long short film Big Bang is an attempt to portray a complex subject in a straight forward and easy manner without compromising on its intricacies. The short film, which revolves around the apathy shown by humans towards nature, tries to explain how water is extremely important for us to sustain and on the other hand also has the ability to create havoc.
According to Lal Bijo, choosing a topic that would have an impact on the audiences of every age group was a conscious decision as the aspiring director wanted to begin his journey with something that could be useful to society at large. Big Bang, he says will persuade the audience to think about the importance of various elements in nature that need to be protected. Lal, who dreams of directing a feature film in the near future, is busy working on the script before approaching various actors.
