Singers Rimi Tomy and Vaikom Vijayalakshmi could become favourites of Malayali music lovers, thanks to their unique singing style. Now for the first time, the talented singers are teaming up for a single song which will be featured in Nadirshah-directed Kattapanayile Hrithik Roshan. According to the director, they are crooning together a festival mood song.
“I am sure that this song also will become an unavoidable one in ganamelas and stage shows in coming season,” says the director who himself set the tune for the song which has lyrics written by Santhosh Varma. Though this is the first song for which they are teaming up, Vijayalakshmi has lent her voice for a song in Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare, which had Rimi in the lead role.
