Ranjith Shankar’s horror comedy Pretham released in 2016. It garnered praise from the audience as well as the critics for its unique subject and presentation. The movie was another hit from the Jayasurya-Ranjith team, which is known to make blockbusters like Punyalan Agarbattis, Punyalan Private Limited and Njan Marykutty.
The team is coming together again with the sequel of Pretham, titled Pretham 2. The shoot for the movie has begun and the director took to Twitter on Sunday to announce the same. He wrote, “3 days to Pretham 2 shoot. The more you make movies the more prepared you get it seems:) We are ready..!! fun,friendship,youth, suspense, mentalism, horror and the ghost..:) See you all in theatres this X Mas!!(sic). Pretham 2 will have Queen fame Saniya Iyappan and Vimanam fame Durga Krishna in lead roles.
