Udhyanidhi Stalin's recent tweets are puzzling many. At a time when the film strike finally came to an end after 47 days on April 17 to the relief of the producers and film buffs, Udhay tweeted, “As like how IPL games were changed, will all Tamil films also be postponed, until the Cauvery Management Board is formed? This will help garner more attention, from the non performing State and Central governments”.
While a few appreciated his idea, many have asked if the actor could tell the same to the Hyderabad IPL franchise (Sun Risers) owner Kalanithi Maran, who is a close relative of his. Also, many trolled him asking if his film is not ready for release in the near future and so he is not worried. Others have suggested that all the shows and films aired on their family owned channels Kalaignar TV and Sun TV should be suspended till the CMB is formed.
One may recall Udhay expressed his happiness and proudly tweeted a few days back posting the banner of his movie regarding the re-release of his debut acting venture Oru Kal Oru Kannadi in one multiplex screen in the city.
