Banner Film Society, the film lovers' community in Thiruvananthapuram, will celebrate its 15th anniversary on September 19. A gathering of movie buffs will take place at Lenin Balavadi, behind Tagore Theatre, in Vazhuthacaud on the day. Filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan will address the gathering at the function to be presided over by
popular film critic M.F. Thomas. Other speakers are Harikumar, Shyamaprasad, M.P. Sukumaran Nair, G. Shankar, V.K Joseph, Vijayakrishnan, Dr V. Rajakrishnan, Neelan, C.S. Venkiteswaran, Prof. Aliyar, Sunny Joseph, Madhupal, Bina Paul, Dr. Biju, K.R. Manoj, Sanalkumar Sasidharan, Sajin Babu, Sudevan, Santhosh Babusenan, Satheesh Babusenan, M. Rajeev Kumar, T.P. Shasthamangalam, Vinu Abraham, P.K. Sobhana, Pradeep Panangad, M. Chandrasekhar, Ajayakumar, Meera Sahib, Sasi Paravoor, Walter, E. Janardhanan, P.S. Pradeep and Vijaynath.
The documentary Nalla Cinemayum Oru Manushyanum — M.F. Thomas, based on the life of M.F. Thomas, will be screened on the venue at 5 pm.
