Bollywood actors seem to be making a beeline to Mollywood. The latest entrant to Mollywood albeit for the second time is Aditi Rao Hydari. She will be playing the title role of Sujatha in the film Sufiyum Sujathayum that has Jayasurya as the male lead. The film will be a musical love story, directed by debutant Naranipuzha Shanavas. Producer/ actor Vijay Babu will be producing the film under the banner of Friday Film House. It was Vijay himself who let the cat out of the bag by announcing on his Facebook page, “It has a wonderful script. A good writer / director (our 12th introduction).The best music director, highly talented DOP & editor along with a super team. Aditi Rao Hydari will play “Sujata”.

Vijay Babu, known for introducing debutant directors, has also mentioned that Shanavas is the 12th director to be introduced by him and also describes the project as “possibly our best film till date”.
Sufiyum Sujathayum has been scripted by director Shanavas himself and also has Siddique, Vijay Babu, Mamukkoya, Hareesh Kanaran etc in prominent roles. This will be Aditi’s second Malayalam film; she was part of the 2006 Mammooty starrer Prajapathi.
