Finally, Lal Jose has let the world know it on Facebook, officially. That he unites with Mohanlal for a new project. The brief note posted in his own handwriting says, he has been asked ‘that’ question ever since the release of Mammootty’s Oru Maravathoor Kanavu way back in 1998. The news was out on the penultimate day of the commencement of the shoot.
The note ends with the director seeking blessings from the viewers. Mohanlal plays the lead role, Professor Idikkula, in the yet-to-be-titled movie. The film started rolling at St Xavier’s College at Thumba in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday. The college had also served as the location for another Lal movie, College Kumaran in 2008.
The 2015 movie Nee-Na was the latest from Lal Jose to hit the screens. After that, he had also announced Oru Bhayankara Kamukan starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.
