Meenakshi in bilingual horror flick Bhayam
Malayalam movies are in an experimental mode with various genres jostling for space. Adding one more film to the horror genre, directors Riyaz Ismath and Madhu Pillai Nooranadu are coming up with a bilingual movie, aptly titled as Bhayam. The upcoming film will be in Tamil and Malayalam and Riyaz informs that unlike other horror movies, this would not have any visual effects.
The lead roles will be essayed by Adithyan, a newcomer heroine and child artiste Meenakshi. The film will be shot at Wagamon. The story is about a nuclear family who buys a haunted bungalow in a high range estate; the rumours are that no one comes out of the bungalow alive. As they stay there, the child shows eerie behaviour and what happens thereafter forms the crux of the film. The shoot would begin by mid-March.
