Ashkkar Soudaan, nephew of actor Mammootty, will play the lead role in Daivathinte Niyamam, directed by Sandeep Ajith Kumar. He is the fifth person from Mammootty’s family to enter the film industry. Remya Panicker will play the female lead. The movie is a crime thriller set against a family backdrop. The story and screenplay is by Peethambaran. Vijayakumar Henry, Sudheesh, Manav, Balaji Sharma, Jomon, Neena Kurup, Anju Sasi and Baby Emin will appear in other prominent roles.
The cinematography is handled by Ranjith Murali, while Shaleesh Lal handles the editing. Art direction is by Murali Beypur. Ashkkar’s previous projects in Malayalam included Mithram, a horror movie in which he played two roles and Kolamaas. In between he did Sowcarpettai in Tamil. Daivathinte Niyamam is Sandeep’s second movie after Akashathinum Bhoomikkum Idayil. The shooting of Daivathinte Niyamam is progressing in Kozhikode.
