Biju Menon is known for his films which have interesting themes. Another attractive element of his films are the titles. Marubhoomiyile Aana, Vellimoonga, Salt Mango Tree and most recently Kavi Udheshichath — the uniqueness of these names also played a crucial role in attracting the audience to the theatres. Biju's next project also has an interesting title — Rakshadhikari Baiju.
The film is directed by screenwriter-turned-filmmaker Ranjan Pramod, who earlier wielded the megaphone for Mohanlal-starrer Photographer and Rose Guitarinal. Ranjan was the screenwriter of Sathyan Anthikad directed Mohanlal-Manju Warrier film — Ennum Eppozhum.
According to sources close to the film, it is set against the backdrop of a village and it is an out and out family entertainer.
