Dharmajan Bolgatty’s fishy soup!

While talking to a TV channel, the actor accused that the money collected from public as flood relief fund is not reaching the public.

Dharmajan Bolgatty, an actor known for his impeccable comic timing, seems to have chosen a bad time to express his concern on flood relief fund.

While talking to a TV channel, the actor accused that the money collected from public as flood relief fund is not reaching the public. "We have a huge mechanism in place to disburse money among those affected, but it's not working properly. I had seen the commotion and confusion at Varappuzha panchayat office, where no one had any idea about how to assess the damage and distribute the funds to people who suffered huge losses. We collected money on behalf of A.M.M.A. too, but none of it has reached the grassroots. I even told Innocent MP that instead of donating the money to the fund, we could have utilised it to build 100 homes for the flood-affected," he had said.

No sooner than he made the comments, Dharmajan was targeted by cyber bullies who attacked him for his comments and many explaining with figures how the funds were utilised for the welfare of the flood-hit people.

Meanwhile, many have come in support of Dharmajan. His friend and colleague Tini Tom said that Dharmajan's comments were never aimed at any political outfit, but those who had the responsibility to act.
