Varalaxmi Sarathkumar
After debuting in Malayalam with the Mammootty-starrer Kasaba, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has already finished the shoot of her next Malayalam project Kaattu, directed by Arun Kumar Aravind. The makers of the film, which stars Asif Ali, Murali Gopy and Manasa Radhakrishnan among others, have maintained a tight lid over the storyline. As the release nears, the makers have been relaying bits and pieces about the characters. As far as Varalaxmi’s character goes, the makers have this to say, “A woman is the full circle. Within her is the ability to create, nurture, and transform.” She plays the character of Muthulakshmi in the film.
