Two weeks ago, the Facebook page of Amar Akbar Anthony-fame Meenakshi saw an update with this post and a photo of a car — “Hi friends... Officially announcing my next Malayalam movie with....!!!”
Though the name of the hero was not revealed, several online media reported that the child actor, who shot to fame through her role Pathu in Amar Akbar Anthony, would share screen with Mohanlal, after confirming that the car in the photo was that of the superstar.
The latest news is that she has been chosen to essay a pivotal role in hit-maker Priyadarsan’s upcoming thriller Oppam, in which Mohanlal acts as a visually-challenged person. Confirming the news, the director says, “Yes, she is acting in Oppam along with Lal. As we are still working on final draft of the script and casting, I cannot reveal the details of her character.”
