Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas has initiated legal proceedings against an individual on Instagram. The actor has filed a defamation lawsuit against this person at the Panangadu Police Station. Reports suggest that the said Instagram user has consistently posted offensive and derogatory comments on Tovino's social media posts.
Having observed this behaviour over an extended period, Tovino decided to take legal action. He reportedly lodged a First Information Report (FIR) with the police, urging them to intervene promptly. The actor is said to have provided the authorities with links to the alleged individual's offensive comments on his Instagram content. In response, the police have assured a thorough investigation, and they are actively pursuing the case. Appropriate action will be taken against the Instagram user based on the investigation's findings.
Regarding his upcoming projects, Tovino Thomas is set to appear in the period thriller Ajayante Randam Moshanam, directed by newcomer Jithin Lal. This film promises an enthralling combination of period and action drama, featuring engaging action sequences. The cast includes Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi in prominent roles.
Furthermore, Tovino is collaborating with actor-director Soubin Shahir for Nadikar Thilagam. In this film, Tovino portrays David Padikkal, a superstar of seven years in the film industry. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, a prominent Tollywood production house, this marks Mythri's debut venture in Malayalam cinema. Following his commitments, Tovino will reunite with actor-director Basil Joseph for the highly anticipated sequel to their successful OTT film, Minnal Murali.
Tovino is also part of the action thriller Identity, created by the team behind Forensic. In this film, he shares the screen with Trisha for the first time, and Vinay Rai also plays a significant role in the cast. This project holds particular significance as it marks the first collaboration between Tovino and Trisha on the silver screen.
