Biju Menon gearing up for Padayottam

A namesake of the 1982 superhit film, Padayottam has no similarities with the latest film.

Biju Menon, who has been surprising movie buffs with his image makeover roles since the 2010 movie Marykkundoru Kunjaadu, is gearing up for his next – Padayottam, a gangster comedy directed by debutante Rafeeq Ibrahim. A namesake of the 1982 superhit film, Padayottam has no similarities with the latest film. Biju Menon will, interestingly, be experimenting with Thiruvananthapuram dialect in the film in which he plays a character named Chenkal Raghu.

The actor was seen handling Palakkad dialect in Ordinary and Thrissur dialect in Swarna Kaduva. The movie, also stars Anu Sithara, Dileesh Pothan, Saiju Kurup, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Aju Varghese and Vinay Forrt.
