There was a rumour on Monday morning that Malayalam superstar Mammootty has been hospitalised due to a severe illness in Bengaluru, and doctors were considering airlifting him to US on a chartered flight. It was reported that the multiple National Award winner was suffering from aneurism. However, a source close to the actor revealed that it was false news, and that the actor is fine and resting. It has been learnt that due to hectic travel, Mammootty could not sleep properly, and complained of uneasiness and discomfort on his flight from Dubai to Mumbai. Later, he had a thorough checkup and was found fit. He is resting in his daughter’s residence in Bengaluru, and will join the shoot of his forthcoming flick later this month, which is scheduled to take place in Karnataka.
