Mollywood favorite onscreen duo to hit screens soon
After a long break, the Meera Jasmine- Narein combo is back in Mollywood with M. Padmakumar's film 'Queen Elizabeth'. The audience has been waiting to see them back on screens after 'Achuvinte Amma', 'Minnaminnikoottam' and 'Ore Kadal'. The film, a romantic comedy entertainer, will appeal to family audiences.
The movie is totally different from M. Padmakumar's earlier projects. Mollywood's favorite heroine Meera Jasmine is gearing up for a brilliant comeback with one of the strongest characters in her acting career. Narein is sure to win huge applause as Alex, a gentle and innocent character, stands out from the roles he has played recently. After his brilliant performance as a fisherman in Jude Anthony Joseph's blockbuster hit '2018', Naren's role as Alex in 'Queen Elizabeth' could be one of his best.
A major portion of the shooting has been completed. The main locations of the 'Queen Elizabeth' were in Kochi, Kuttikanam, and Coimbatore. The film is produced by Ranjith Manambarakkat, who brought out commercial hits like 'Vellam', 'Appan' and 'Padachone Ingalu Katholeen', along with M. Padmakumar and Sreeram Manambarakkat under the banner Blue Mount Productions. The movie is scripted by Arjun T Sathyan.
Apart from Meera Jasmine and Naren in the lead roles, Shweta Menon, Ramesh Pisharady, VK Prakash, Ranji Panicker, Johnny Antony, Mallika Sukumaran, Jude Anthony Joseph, Arya Badai Bunglaw, Shruti Rajinikanth, Pearly Mani, Sania Babu, Neena Kurup, Manju Pathros, Vineeth Viswam, Ranji Kangol and Chitra Nair are also part of the film.
