Hannah is in love with acting

Hannah, who plays the female lead in Biju Menon-starrer Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu says her role in the movie was a great learning experience.

The movie Darvinte Parinamam was loved by all; it even had the critics rooting for its lead characters. Among the strong and experienced cast of the movie was debutante Hannah Reji Koshy, whose performance as Ancy was applauded. Today she is teaming up with yet another leading actor Biju Menon for the movie Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu. “I play opposite Biju Menon's character Baiju as his wife Ajitha. She is a homemaker. It was really exciting for me to play this role, which was a very deglamorised one. Throughout the movie, it was fun and I got to learn a lot, especially from such a versatile actor like Biju Menon. Whatever dialogue is given to him, he aces it.”

On her latest project, she says, “It is a fun, family entertainer, but it also has its emotional side as well. Moreover, the movie does not stick to portraying Baiju and his family alone. There is a club called Kumbalam Brothers and the story revolves around the lives of the club club members. The movie captures the life in a village, how each family is affected when urbanisation crawls in.” Hannah landed the role of Ajitha after she was approached by the producers of Darwinte Parinamam, “The producers are the same for both the movies. That’s how I got the call and went for the screen test.”

It is no secret that Hannah is both a dentist and model by profession. So has she been out of touch with her dentistry skills? “No, I have been practising simultaneously. My family has a clinic so I make sure that I go there to be constantly in touch with the profession. I see to it that I refresh my dentistry from time to time, but also give importance to movies. When I get offers, I read through and see if I can handle the role offered to me. In fact, after being a part of this movie, I find myself more drawn to movies.”
