Two Notes' wins Golden Owl at Cut.In National Students Festival 2016

Thriuvananthapuram: ‘Randu Kurippukal’ (Two Notes), a diploma film by Gireesh Kumar K, an IFFK regular, has won Golden Owl for the best short fiction at ‘Cut.In’, National Students Festival 2016. The 30-minute short film has won many accolades so far. It was shortlisted to be screened at Cannes Short Film Corner and the the Indian Panorama non-feature section of International Film Festival of India 2016. The film has won the Golden Royal Bengal Tiger Award at Kolkata International Film Festival; John Abraham National Award 2016 at SiGNS film festival. Gireesh is a teacher at Government LPS, Manjeswaram.
