Malayalam actress abduction: Evidence collected from three places in Thrissur
Thrissur: Cops on Thursday collected evidence from three places in Thrissur where they claim actor Dileep and Pulsar Suni met and conspired to commit the crime. Dileep was brought to Joys Palace in Thrissur from Aluva Police Club at around 11.15 am and was shown the place where he allegedly conversed with Suni inside a BMW car near the parking lot of the five star hotel. The collection of evidence at the hotel went on for six minutes and Dileep was not taken out of the bus. Later, he was taken to Hotel Gaurda for nearly 15 minutes. The actor had stayed in the hotel for 14 days on three different occasions from September 2016 till March this year.
He was taken to the eighth floor of the hotel to the room he had stayed. According to the SIT, both Dileep and Suni had met at the hotel and plotted the crime. Finally, the actor was taken to Kinattingal Tennis and Sports Academy, situated at Puzhakkal paddy fields where the police had collected selfies from the staff of the tennis club in which Suni was seen on the background. The selfies were clicked on November 13 during the shooting of the film Georgettan’s Pooram.
A staffer who clicked the selfie was taken to the bus in which the actor was sitting and later the cops collected some measurements where the selfies were clicked. The actor was later taken inside the indoor tennis court of the club and details about his presence at the club were verified by the investigating officers. The team stayed at the club for nearly 40 minutes before they left for Aluva at 12.30 p.m. AIYF workers took out a protest march against the actor to the tennis club. In all the three locations, there were a large crowd gathered outside and at the tennis club, there were a few fans of the actor who shouted slogans in support of him.
