Trouble deepens: Dileep involved in Kalabhavan Mani's death, alleges Mani's brother
Kochi: Actor Dileep who was arrested on Monday in theKerala actress abduction case, has a new allegation made upon him.
Apparently, he has also been involved in the death of late actor Kalabhavan Mani.
RLV Ramakrishnan, Mani’s brother said in a recent television report that he suspects Dileep’s involvement in his brother’s death, as he was involved in some property dealing with Kalabhavan Mani.
According to a leading portal, Ramakrishnan said, “Mani had some land dealings with Dileep. We are not sure who is behind my brother's death, but I had reported the dealings of my brother with Dileep to CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) officers as the CBI is currently working on the case. Also Dileep has not co-operated with the investigation of Mani's death. Though known to be good friends, he has visited the family only once after the death.”
The source further divulged to the portal saying that though they had reported the same to Kerala police, the police officials ignored his statement. "I came to know that Mani had land dealings with the actor at Rajakkad, Idukki and Munnar. We think Mani was exploited for financial reasons and by the land mafia, and wish to get justice if Dileep has any involvement in Mani's death."
Director Baiju Kottarakkara, too had suspected Dileep's hands in Mani's demise during a television show.
