It could have been settled within four walls: Mamtha Mohandas

A matter which could have been settled within the four walls has turned out to be an incident sending shock waves across the society, Mamtha Mohandas commented about the actress assault case and subsequent arrest of actor Dileep. This was her first comment on the matter as she attended the promotion of a movie in Kochi on Wednesday.

Mamtha, who has shared screen space with Dileep in My Boss and Two Countries, had off-screen camaraderie too. She also termed the issue a shame on cine world. Interestingly, Mamtha is sharing screen space with Dileep’s ex-wife Manju Warrier in the movie Udaharanam Sujatha. The actor, settled abroad for a while, is back in Kerala for the shooting and post production works of certain projects she has signed. She is among the few film personalities who are rarely seen on the social media commenting circuits.

Quizzed about her association with Women in Cinema Collective, Mamtha made it clear that she has not been a part of the initiative so far and that she is “not against any organisation.”
