Prithviraj-starrer Vimanam has been in the news for past few years, as it is the biopic on Saji Thomas, a deaf-mute who beat his disability to built an aircraft. Now the film is all set to take off.
The pooja of the film was held at a private function in Kochi on Sunday. The movie is directed by journalist turned filmmaker Pradeep.M.Nair.
Listin Stephen, who earlier produced films such as Traffic, Chappa Kurish, How Old Are You, Ustad Hotel and Maari will bankroll Vimanam under the Magic Frames banner. Gopi Sunder, who composes the sound tracks for the film, also attended the function.
