Malayalam actress abduction: Cops inspect thrissur hotels
Thrissur: As a part of the actor abduction and rape case, police has conducted inspections at a four-star and a five-star hotel in Thrissur where actor Dileep stayed during his visits here. It was found from the records of the bills at Hotel Garuda that since September last year till March this year, the actor had stayed there for 14 days on three different occasions. Officials at Garuda and Joys Palace in Thrissur confirmed the inquiry conducted by the police investigation team.
They said that in connection with the preparations for the shoot of Gerogettan’s 'Pooram', Dileep had stayed at Garuda from September 10 to 19 and from October 11 and 12 last year. This year the actor had stayed at the hotel between March 3 and 6. The cops collected the copies of the invoice of the hotel and were now trying to retrieve the CCTV footage at Garuda to know whether Pulsar Suni had visited the hotel to conspire with the actor.
They had already collected the selfie with the actor and Suni in the frame during the shooting of Gerogettan’s 'Pooram' at Kinattingal Tennis and Sports Academy situated in the Puzhakkal paddy fields. It was on the day of the shoot on November 13 and the photographs turned out to be a crucial piece of information linking the actor with Suni. The remand report says that the actor and Suni spoke to each other at the tennis club near the caravan and also inside a BMW car at Joys Palace hotel in Thrissur nearly a year before the abduction of the actor. The remand report also says that the name of Suni is in the log book with the security at this hotel.
