The film Thoppil Joppan directed by Johny Antony has Mammootty playing the title role of an Achayan who loves his drink and the game of kabbadi. He is a character who does not hesitate to give as good as he gets and is nursing a broken heart. The film has two heroines Andrea Jeremiah and Mamta Mohandas and has a humour track though it has liberal doses of romance too.
