Kochi: The special investigation team (SIT) probing star molestation summoned filmmaker Vysakh in connection with the case on Thursday. They questioned him at the Aluva Police Club over the alleged meeting between actor Dileep and Sunil Kumar aka Pulsar Suni, the prime accused on the sets of his Sound Thoma. Officials familiar with the development said they had recorded his statement, but remained tight-lipped about content. The letter purportedly written by Suni from jail has mentioned that “I haven’t revealed anything that happened between the periods of shooting Sound Thoma and Georgeettans Pooram to anyone”.
Dileep was the hero of Sound Thoma. Sources said the recording of his statement was part of their effort to fortify the case. The probe team is also collecting such statements from others having close links to the film industry. Dileep meanwhile has completed one month in jail.
